Week 4

Week 4 Meeting Wednesday 4/27/2017

For this meeting, our group finalized the materials that we plan to use for our design. After we finalized the necessary parts, we looked up the cost for each material and come to a set estimate of the overall cost. Also, our group started to build a prototype of the umbrella.

• Micah and Rasheem- found additional springs necessary for the umbrella.
• Osman and Tony- designed parts of the prototype
• Osman- wrote out all the necessary materials and their respective costs

Week 4 Meeting -Monday 4/24/2017

Oz will take responsibility for 3D printing the sliding latch for the Umbrella Handle. Oz believes that there are 3d models online in the public domain that group 6 can access.

Rasheem and Micah also used the mcmaster-carr website to find some decently priced fiber glass. Final purchased will be decided on wednesday.

Tony and Oz also decided that the skeleton will be made of fiberglass; and discussed how the extended flap will position.
